ALECAVA was created by Christopher and Damaris Cavounis — two individuals united by family, perseverance, innovation, and a shared vision for sustainable living practices. 

Christopher is an entrepreneur, visionary, and leader with extensive experience in manufacturing, food, agriculture, wellness, and product development. His career has been dedicated to introducing innovative ideas and quality products to the market while consistently seeking better, more natural, and sustainable ways to operate.

Christopher's journey has not been conventional. After overcoming significant personal challenges, including a battle with cancer and a difficult past, his life took a transformative turn when he met Damaris. Together, they built a loving family and welcomed their beautiful twin children.

This new chapter shifted his focus and priorities.

Today, Christopher and Damaris are passionate about creating meaningful products, experiences, agriculture, and wellness opportunities that connect people with nature and each other.

ALECAVA Oporapa is the latest expression of that vision.

Nestled in the mountains of Oporapa, Huila, Colombia, ALECAVA embodies the essence of wellness experiences, agricultural tourism in Colombia, nature, and innovation, offering authentic Colombian countryside experiences.
